The Site does not use cookies for advertising.

About Google Analytics

To understand how the Site is used and improve it, the Site uses Google Analytics, provided by Google LLC. Google Analytics uses cookies and sends the information above to Google LLC. It does not include anything you enter in the contact form.

2. How we use it

  • To answer and handle your inquiry
  • To confirm that you are the store owner, for example when you request data deletion
  • To prevent abusive or automated submissions
  • To understand trends in inquiries and improve our apps and help content (in a form that does not identify individuals)
  • To understand how the Site is used and improve it (analytics)

3. Disclosure to third parties

We do not provide personal information to third parties without your consent, except where required by law.

4. Service providers

We use the following providers to serve the Site, protect it from bots, analyze its use, send inquiries and receive email. They handle information only as needed, under our supervision.

  • Vercel Inc. (serving the Site, processing inquiries)
  • Cloudflare, Inc. (bot protection with Turnstile)
  • Google LLC (site analytics with Google Analytics)
  • Plus Five Five, Inc. (sending inquiry emails with Resend)
  • Google LLC (receiving email with Google Workspace)

5. Handling outside Japan

Vercel Inc., Cloudflare, Inc., Google LLC and Plus Five Five, Inc. (Resend) are based in the United States, so personal information may be handled in countries including the United States (Resend stores data in the United States regardless of the sending region).

  • Basis for the transfer: each provider maintains a system for continuously taking measures equivalent to those required under Japan’s Act on the Protection of Personal Information (Article 28(1)). We have reviewed each provider’s terms, data processing agreement (DPA) and security practices.
  • Country where the provider is based: United States
  • Personal information protection system in that country: the United States has no comprehensive federal privacy law; instead it has sector-specific federal laws and state laws such as the California Consumer Privacy Act. See the survey of foreign personal information protection systems published by Japan’s Personal Information Protection Commission.
  • Measures the providers take: under their data processing agreements, the providers encrypt data in transit and at rest, restrict access, and hold third-party security certifications such as SOC 2.
  • Measures we take: we periodically check how the providers handle the information and whether the laws of their country have changed, and if the equivalent measures can no longer be ensured, we stop the handling or take other appropriate action. We will provide information about these measures on request.

6. Retention

Inquiry content is kept for three years after the inquiry is resolved, and then deleted, unless the law requires us to keep it longer.

7. Security measures

  • Only designated staff handle inquiry content.
  • Connections are encrypted.
  • Processing logs do not record the message body, email address or name.
  • We select and supervise our service providers.
  • Understanding the external environment: Vercel Inc., Cloudflare, Inc., Google LLC and Plus Five Five, Inc. (Resend) are US companies; Vercel Inc. and Cloudflare, Inc. process traffic at locations around the world (the program that processes inquiries runs in the Tokyo region). We take security measures based on an understanding of the personal information protection systems of the countries where information may be handled, including the United States. Our email hosting provider, Google LLC, is based in the United States.

8. Requests regarding your personal information

If you ask us to disclose the purpose of use, disclose, correct, add to or delete, stop using or erase, or stop providing to third parties the personal data we hold about you — or to disclose records of third-party provision — we will verify your identity and respond as required by law.

  • How to make a request: through the contact page or by email.
  • How we verify your identity: by confirming that the request comes from the email address you used to contact us, or by matching information visible in your Shopify admin (such as your store URL). For requests made by an agent, we confirm their authority with a power of attorney or similar document.
  • Fees: free of charge.

9. Questions and complaints

Send questions or complaints about how we handle personal information through the contact page or the contact details below.

10. Changes

We will publish any changes to this policy on this page.
